Well, with that, uh speaking of scuba diving, let's dive into the recap! Werewolf who done it. Hostile Hotel. Priestess in peril. Last session, the party investigated the murder of one Boris Twinsilver at the Snowden Olive Guard Inn at the spine of Lokan Mountain Range. The cast was wide and the suspects were varied. Bale, the Cyclops gardener, and Druid, whose garden was found to contain Wolf's Bane. Raoul and Reina, the performers whose father had stuck them here with a gig they'd come to resent. Nerva, the suspicious priestess of fate, and acquaintance of well, acquaintance.

She's a werewolf. Yemma, uh, who you did later discover whenever I was a werewolf. Valdric, the bitter and gossipy suck up of a hotelier, and finally, Katya, a druid with a seemingly invented past. Investigating, the party found a number of clues pointing towards a druid possibly using Wild Shape to impersonate a werewolf in the attack. They also noticed some strange behavior from Valdric, the hotelier. He seemed to have an awful lot of gossip and an awful big chip on his shoulder. For, once again, being passed over for promotion. Yemma confessed to the players that, in fact, the priestess Nerva was a werewolf, but that she believed in her innocence. Around this time, Valdric showed up with snowy boots of Nerva's, claiming they were found in her room and matching the werewolf's footprints in the snow. All the proof he needed to send Katya and the kind Bale to Yemma's hut so they might grab and execute Highweaver Nerva before she could supposedly strike again. Looking to protect their ally and recognizing something suspicious in Valdric and Katya, Janice, Patch, and Lucy, I believe, all leapt from the window to pursue the executioners, while Rex clocked Valdric in the face. With that, why don't we roll for initiative and jump back into the session?

Let's set the scene again. You guys are in the hotel room, the lover's suite, the presidential suite on the second floor. You are in front of a big glass window overlooking the snowy fields of the valley. Valdrick and Yemma are both in here. Out the window, you see about 40 feet from the hotel, you see Bale and Katya are walking towards Yemma's cabin, which is about 40 feet past that. Okay.

Um first he's gonna make a s he's gonna try and get a stunning strike on Katya, but he only rolled the 12.

Hell yeah. Okay, so Lucy uh in a moment yells out, no! Then her innate sorcery blooms with inside of her. So uh part of the innate sorcery is that it's an event in your past left a mark on you. And so I feel like I should mention which event in my past each time that we do it. I've realizing that I had forgotten that. Um, so this uh reminds her of a time back in Siren's Perch when uh a frog had been being teased by the other frogs, and she tried to um help out that little frog and give it a home. And when she did, the frog was seen as really cool and then went back to the frogs and then left Lucy. Uh and she had felt like she had helped it, but then it like turned its back on her. And so like she has this pain of um inside of her, I guess.

Maybe that's why I had to cast this. I need everyone to make a dexterity save.

What he would love to do is shut down the entire dishorn network. Can I do that from my my horn?

That's a good role. As you break the very servers that hold your dishorn service, you feel something rushing through you. You feel like a power rushing through you. In one, you see a teen desperate to be liked, to fit in, but have a skill that elevates him from the people around him. Because he wasn't born with any. You also see the version of yourself that purchased patchwork games. You see, you know, the smile behind your eyes, this idea that you finally made it. You see Tim performing on stage, Tim Chalamet. And in another, you see at yourself as a hero. You see at yourself helping your friends, you see yourself interposing, clanky between your friends and all varieties of brutal monsters. And you see in that reflection that your starry tattoos have spread up your arm, traveling through your veins. And as you look down at your arm, you see the broken dish horn in front of you start seeping starlight that goes into your arm.
