Uh, he was a ticket taker, and he uh he worked, you know, he didn't even get to like sit down. It was one of those things where he had to stand. Yeah. People come in. It was like awkward because he saw like people he knew from high school, and they'd be like, Oh, what are you doing here, Patch? He'd be like, Oh, I'm just saving, just saving money. And he'd have to deal with, you know, kids running through, people come in and complain to him. And the worst part of Patch's job was that in this movie theater was attached to an arcade, and the arcade only had one song that played on repeat, and it was doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo doo doo doo do do. And Patch went so crazy like an EDM Adams family.

Well, let's dive into the recap. Sublime suburbs. A convening council, perilous plague. Last session, the Ha Ha Heroes. Is that the name we're going with? No. It can't be. One of you said it. I did.

Well, last session, the party arrived in Janice's hometown of Plutopolis, finding things not quite as alright as Janus claimed. The entire massive city, built on the convergence of five rivers, was enveloped in a cloud of plague dust, casting the environment in a monochromatic pale grey hue. Avoiding the city and looking to discern the fortunes of Janus' family in the six months he's been gone, the crew set out for the druidic suburbs of Sylvan Heights. On arrival, they met his parents, Councilwoman Pythia Apollon and her husband, Midas the Jeweler. Also present were the other members of Plutopolis' ruling body, the Chromatic Council, most of whom Janus knew. Everyone, in fact, except the representative of the nobility, Senna Hyrcadius, who Janus did not know. Janus shared his visions and his designation as the Oracle of Farrica with this group, who in turn shared some leads with the party. Ebenezer Bones, the head of the Arcanery, tasked the party with capturing one of the roving flocks of sentient plague in a gemstone for further study. High Sun Georgiana, the high priest of Heliot, asked the party to investigate the Temple of Erebos, which fell to the plague quickly and has not been heard from since. And finally, General Trioctus, leader of the city military, informed the party that the plague bringer had been spotted recently in the Arcanery. I forgot to mention Dod Ratley, the Lord of Commerce, because he didn't really give you guys shit.

Yeah, you guys got stuff to do. Leaving this group and still further seeking Janice's sister Circe Apollon, said to be living in the Arconery to stay close to her work, the party boarded one of the city's many mass transit barges, where Janice's denial of the plague's danger came to a head as he finally revealed its severity. How it hunts, how those who are infected begin to seize for various periods of time, lose all memories of their time of infection, then in most cases experience magical curses that lead to their doom. While in others seem to experience very little, before disappearing without a trace months later.

With a 12, yeah, I mean you can you can very clearly discern that this is the astral plague. The ass plague, as some might say. You also can tell that what she's saying seems to be true. She doesn't seem to be exhibiting normally when someone gets the worst, uh worst effects of the plague. The ones that are like, you age rapidly or you start to turn into a statue. Those aren't just like they happen one day, they take time, and so you turn like a little bit more stone every day. She is not. She seems to have normal blood flow, normal texture, I guess, normal like constitution of normal temperature. Her temperature is a little bit cold. She's a little clammy. A little chilly, a little clammy.
