Yeah, a little Seder dressed up as a bunny is very cute. It was very cute. And uh there is this character in the shady protector called The Jester. Yes. And he had very iconic makeup. Um it was like a scary, gross clown. And he would like do this thing where he went around and he would go, Why aren't you laughing? So Patch uh, you know, had his little bowler hat um and like a gross, scraggly wig and his gross white clown makeup, and he would go around going, knock, knock, knock, why aren't you laughing?

Last session, the party defended the foppish Pryor Hercadius from a massive spider-like creature using a human body as bait. In thanks, Pryor shared all he knew about the box of many things, that his sister sent him to receive it, only for him to find the warehouse it was supposed to arrive at full of the first waves of plague that would later take the city. He left the issue in the hands of the city guard and returned home, never quite shaking the suspicion that the box and the disease were somewhat linked, and that his sister might be in somewhat connected to the astral plague. Inducing him to write and perform a play about this, Allah Catch the Conscious of the King, at his sister's masquerade, the party left him to dry out, returning to Janice's home to prepare for the party. Here they overheard Janice's parents in conversation, discussing Janice's sister Cersei, who has been missing in action since she left the gang the previous evening to seek her ally, Whisper the Fell Priest. The party then got on their nicest fits. Will you guys quickly remind me what you guys were wearing?

Uh, Patch is wearing Janice's homecoming tux and waistcoat, and then his suspenders are over that. Uh, he has a little purple kilt, and he's wearing his uh his mask that Janice made him around his neck like a bow tie.

So uh the they uh they got that stuff on. Then the party set out for the home of Councilmember Dod Ratley, where they charmed their way inside his office. In addition to some magical items, the party also discovered a series of logs concerning the financial history of the Hadius family. A financial history that got significantly more positive about a year ago when the plague began. Hearing Dod return, the party burst from the office window as he called out after them. Then, the Masquerade! The party arrived at the Hercadius house for the grand event. After witnessing the guests arrive, the group found Janice's mother, Councilwoman Pythia Apollon, while discussing with her the upcoming vote on an aid package from Ariaks, an aid package that they believe might be a Trojan horse for Europhon.

They saw across the party the host, Senna Hercadius, leaving her office after conducting a meeting. A meeting with the pantheonic priest Callidaeus.
